Topics
  • What are the causes of today’s limited project performance?
  • What do we need to change in our current project management practice?
  • To what do we need to change?
  • And how do we change?

We cut the lead-time of projects dramatically and improve the reliability of delivery. More projects can be completed successfully without adding expensive resources to your teams.

During this challenging course you will experience hands-on the limitations of your current project reality. Using simulations and games, the key injections of CCPM will become clear and you will see that only a limited set of changes are necessary to achieve great results.

You will be introduced to the Critical Chain execution mechanics: that are the key to create reliable and fast projects and programs: buffering, buffer management and pipelining in multi-project environments.

However, ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’: don’t assume that something is in order or believe what you are told, but judge the matter by testing it. Therefore we will literally cook our own meal in the evening! A fun way to test the lessons learned.

Last but not least we will share with you our implementation guidelines: how to introduce CCPM effectively within your organization.

Your trainers will be top-consultants who have experience in changing large and complex environments. They have implemented Critical Chain Project Management many times and know the pitfalls as well as what to do to create success! Not just academic theories, but real life stories and practical experience.
“Projects managed using the critical chain method have a far greater chance of delivering the required outputs on time and on budget than those managed any other way.” (Financial Times, The Definitive Guide to Project Management).
Course Objective

We introduce a very effective way of executing complex projects with focus on daily execution based on three simple rules: that is the key to the worldwide results demonstrated. You will identify the causes that put huge limitations on today’s project performance and will show you how to systematically eliminate them.
